Monthly Prize Draw

Every new enquiry received from registered participants will be entered into a monthly prize draw. One winner each month can choose one item from the following -

Terms and Conditions

  • This competition is open to UK residents only. No purchase necessary.

  • Entrants must be over 18 to enter. Employees, contractors and associates of GLH and their immediate family members are excluded.

  • The winner in each prize draw will be able to choose one of the following prizes:

  • There will be no cash alternative.

  • In order to enter the competition entrants must first complete the prize draw registration form at www.glhhotels.com/rewards and then send a meeting & events enquiry to any hotel with M&E facilities operated by GLH to be entered into that month’s prize draw. Entrants need only complete the registration form once. Further details of hotels offering M&E space can be found at www.glhhotels.com/meetings-events/

  • One entry per enquiry.

  • Prize draws are monthly and each prize draw ends on the last day of the applicable calendar month. The winner will be chosen at random by GLH from amongst the valid entries, then notified by email using the contact details provided by the 14th of the month.

  • The winners’ names will be available on request.

  • There will only be one winner per prize draw, if a winner is unavailable or does not respond within 48 hours a new winner will be chosen

  • GLH will contact the winner using the contact details provided to arrange delivery of the chosen prize after the winning entries have been chosen.

  • The prizes are subject to availability and are non-transferable. Certain prizes are subject to terms and conditions of third party providers.

  • It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that their involvement does not contravene their contract of employment and that they have wherever appropriate obtained permission to participate in the prize draws from their employer. GLH reserves the right to contact the employer of any entrant to notify them of an entrant’s participation in the prize draws.

  • By registering for the competition entrants are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions. GLH reserves the right to withhold any prize in its entirety or any element of a prize for violation of any of the Terms and Conditions.

  • To the extent permissible by applicable law: 1) GLH will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of the winners’ use or enjoyment of the prize; 2) the winner acknowledges that GLH accepts no responsibility whether directly or indirectly for any claims whatsoever arising in respect of the prizes provided by any third party providers and any sponsors.

  • GLH reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend the competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

  • The terms of this competition shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales and entrants agree that the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to its subject matter.

  • All personal information is held and used by us in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy which are available on request or on the hotel’s website.

Voucher Reward Programme

For meetings & events and business group bookings contracted with GLH Hotels, the booker will be eligible to claim shopping vouchers to the value below

  • £50 vouchers for every consumed M&E or Business Group booking over £2k

  • £100 vouchers for every consumed M&E or Business Group booking over £5k

  • £300 vouchers for every consumed M&E or Business Group booking over £15k

  • £500 vouchers for every consumed M&E or Business Group booking over £30k

Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

Participation in the Voucher Reward Programme (‘Programme’) is open to bookers including, without limit, existing and new corporate clients, meeting bookers and agents and intermediaries located in (and selling in) the United Kingdom (‘Participants’). All Participants must register their details to be eligible for the Programme.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older. Staff of GLH Hotels and its affiliated companies who are involved in the management of the Programme will not be eligible to participate in the Programme.

It is the responsibility of each Participant to ensure that their involvement does not contravene their contract of employment and that they have wherever appropriate obtained permission to participate in the Programme from their employer. GLH Hotels reserves the right to contact the employer of any Participant to notify them of a Participant’s enrolment in the Programme.

Registration

All applicants must complete the online registration form to be eligible for the incentive at www.glhhotels.com/rewards

There is no cost to register and/or participate in the Programme.

Qualification

Participants will be entitled to shopping vouchers in respect of Meetings & Events (‘M&E’) or Business Group bookings (being bookings for corporate clients of ten (10) rooms or more) and in accordance with the terms herein (‘Vouchers’). For the avoidance of doubt, bookings in respect of leisure groups will not qualify for Vouchers. Further details of Vouchers can be found at https://redeem.supercheques.co.uk

To claim Vouchers, Participants must complete an online claim form available at www.glhhotels.com/rewards

Vouchers

Subject to the conditions herein, Participants will be entitled to Vouchers in the amounts set out below:

  • £50 vouchers for every consumed M&E or Business Group booking over £2k

  • £100 vouchers for every consumed M&E or Business Group booking over £5k

  • £300 vouchers for every consumed M&E or Business Group booking over £15k

  • £500 vouchers for every consumed M&E or Business Group booking over £30k

Vouchers will only be issued on pre-booked revenue levels for new bookings arriving after date of registration.

Cancelled bookings or bookings in respect of which refund or discount is given will invalidate any vouchers awarded against that booking. In the event of this occurring any subsequent claims will be subject to the relevant deductions.

Claim forms may only be submitted after a booking has been consumed. Please allow 28 days for receipt of your Vouchers. Vouchers will be sent via email to the email address stated on the claim form. All claims for Vouchers must be made within 6 months of a booking being consumed. Any future bookings where claims have been paid under a previous offer will not be eligible for further claims.

Vouchers are personal to the individual or company to whom they are awarded and may not be transferred without GLH Hotels’ prior written permission.

Vouchers are redeemable by either a company or an individual.

GLH Hotels reserve the right to substitute Vouchers with other prizes without prior notice from time to time. Suitable alternatives will be offered where available. No cash alternatives will be offered.

Taxation

Participation in the Programme may incur a tax liability. Participants are responsible for any such tax liability and should check their own tax position. Recipients of Vouchers will be solely responsible for any and all applicable income, capital or other taxes or fees that may be payable in respect of their receipt of any Vouchers.

Liability

GLH Hotels shall not be liable for any losses, damages, costs or expenses (including loss of profit, goodwill, indirect, consequential or pure economic loss) suffered by a Participant in connection with their participation in the Programme or the receipt or use of any Vouchers. Nothing in this section shall limit GLH Hotel’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Each Participant agrees to indemnify GLH Hotels in respect of all actions, claims, proceedings, demands, losses, expenses, damages and/or costs of whatever nature incurred or arising from participation in the Programme.

General

GLH Hotels may withdraw the Programme at any time, although it will honour valid claims which have been notified to GLH Hotels in accordance with the claims procedure before withdrawal of the offer.

GLH Hotels reserve the right to deem invalid any claim at its discretion if it believes the claim does not accord with the claims procedure or with any other condition of the Programme.

All participants must abide by these terms and conditions. GLH Hotels reserves the right to cancel the participation of any Participant it believes to be acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions. GLH Hotel’s decision shall be final, and no correspondence will be entered into

Participants may choose to leave the Programme at any time by emailing events@glhhotels.com. By leaving the Programme, Participants forfeit the right to any Vouchers accrued but not yet claimed.

GLH Hotels reserves the right to make any change to the Programme or to these Terms and Conditions at any time.

These terms and conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts
